Mile High Stadium Visitors Guide
Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Denver, Colorado that is most known as the home of the NFL’s Denver Broncos. It opened in 2001, replacing the old Mile High Stadium that had been home to the Broncos since 1960.
Visitors will find that the stadium is easily accessible via multiple Denver thoroughfares, as it is located off Interstate 25 near the 17th Street and Colfax Avenue exits and can also be accessed from Federal Boulevard. The RTD light rail train also has a stop at Invesco Field, making it convenient for fans to travel to games.
Broncos fans will find there is not a bad seat in the house of 76,125 seats. Several Broncos fan traditions – such as the chanting of “in-com-plete” and the booing of empty seats – are alive and well today, making for a fun, interactive stadium experience. The infamous “South Stands” fans are at every game and are regarded as some of the loudest fans in professional sports.
Invesco Field is also home to the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Museum, located at Gate 1. Fans will want to check out this shrine to Colorado sports greats before or after the game.If you like what you see, keep going: Denver Broncos’ Von Miller will make about half as much money as he would have under former CBA
